If you walk into Payless, the one shoe company that is EVERYWHERE is “Airwalk”. With shoes at like eight dollars, they are debatably the best quality shoes for the price. But really, they have become a symbol of cheap-o-ness across the country. Just look at the average middle school’s footwear. Ya got your Vans, your Etnies, your Chucks, and then you got the imitation skater shoes, a.k.a. , the Airwalks. I donno about you, but whenever I see the word “airwalk” on the back of a shoe, I throw-up in my mouth a little.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that if you’re gonna shop at Payless, at least get the “American Eagle” shoes. ( I have this ongoing suspicion that Payless breaks into the American Eagle stores and steals their shoes for resale, and so far I’m still convinced.)
So yeah.
I’m done now.

Wow, I’m glad to see your too good for Airwalk. Symbol of cheapness? Nope, made in the same factories that Etnies and DCShoes are made in. Elitists care where it is sold. Our shoes are made by a couple of designers who skate every day they can, and our goal was to be able to provide quality skate shoes for authentic and legitimate prices, not the overblown excess that some places try to charge just because their symbol is seen as cooler than someone else’s. Oh yeah, and American Eagle shoes are made in the same place Airwalks are. Enjoy!
True authenticity comes from designers who live the lifestyle of the shoes they design and do not try to bankrupt the people who buy them, but whatever. You have the right to your opinion, however uninformed.

Hey guys, i googled in child labour and airwalk and just saw your posts..it’s nice that everyone has an opinion but just thought that maybe you guys should re-read what you’ve wrote…except for the second post by blabberbouche, everyone else responded in a pretty immature and condescending manner…jus thought that i’d point that out, b/c if you want ppl to respect your opinions then the way you present it really matters…so making personal attacks on a person or their family, ie. ‘moron, looser, mama’s informed, etc.’ first of all is just mean and it definitely does not get your point across instead it makes you seem childish…
