So I was listening to my local top 40 radio station, Hot 99.5, and of course, every 5 minutes Sara Bareilles’ “Love Song” would play, intertwined with the occasional “Low” and “Teardrops on My Guitar” and whatnot. But then the last thing I expected played! Kane announced that this was a new song, and so I was ready to hear another one of Fergie’s GabaZILLION singles or yet another Timberland song where he never actually sings and has a “feat.” of like the randomest person. Next thing I know, METRO STATION came on with their awesome song Seventeen Forever! I was soooo excited. But then it was quite the bummer, when after the song, Kane gave the impression that the only reason they had played the song is because the lead singer Trace Cyrus is the half-brother of Miley Cyrus. Pathetic. Is that even legal? I mean, they shouldn’t play a band because one of its members (who is by the way my favorite ) is related to one of the brattiest people in pop culture.
Ugh.

If you walk into Payless, the one shoe company that is EVERYWHERE is “Airwalk”. With shoes at like eight dollars, they are debatably the best quality shoes for the price. But really, they have become a symbol of cheap-o-ness across the country. Just look at the average middle school’s footwear. Ya got your Vans, your Etnies, your Chucks, and then you got the imitation skater shoes, a.k.a. , the Airwalks. I donno about you, but whenever I see the word “airwalk” on the back of a shoe, I throw-up in my mouth a little.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that if you’re gonna shop at Payless, at least get the “American Eagle” shoes. ( I have this ongoing suspicion that Payless breaks into the American Eagle stores and steals their shoes for resale, and so far I’m still convinced.)

Ok, that’s my version.
But seriously, this is like the second real snow, and for the first one they only gave us one 2-hour delay. WTF do you call that? The first legitimate snow should always earn at least 1 day off. MCPS is so freakin’ ridiculous. I will give them one thing: it was an exam day today and the county’s schools had already had enough trouble with crazy electricity problems for one week, so I sorta understand why there was no delay or anything today. Really though, if they don’t give us a day off on the exam makeup day, I’d be surprised if we ever get a day off this year. Besides, it’s not like anyone’s going tomorrow in the first place; high schoolers don’t even have to go. Lucky bastards.
Well, whatever the situation, I know we can fix it with some good old snow-dancing. It’s time to turn your PJs inside out and do…. whatever you’re supposed to do with the ice cubes (sorry, I can’t remember. It’s been so long since ACTUAL SNOW!)

It has officially been announced that all the cast members of High School Musical are coming back for the last installment of the HSM movies, this one bypassing Disney Channel and going straight to theaters! Filming begins this spring, and it will premiere in October of this year!

Blabber Bouche. Hmmmm….. what? If you speak French, you might have caught on by now. bouche is French for mouth, hence the phrase “Blabber Bouche” meaning “Blabber Mouth”, adding in the cool French twist. Or not, you know, it might just be because “Blabber Mouth” was an already taken username, and “Bouche” was the first alternative that came to mind. Of course, it may have sounded better to utilize the Spanish “Boca”, which would then be a double reference to my being a vegetarian, but then I’m sure even less people would pick up on it. Or would they? I mean, some people probably wouldn’t understand either equally as much, and now I am rambling, which is why I thought myself suited for the name “Blabber Bouche” in the first place.
Onto some more relevant affairs (geezus this magnet school is rubbing off on me). It’s Girl Scout cookie sales time, and though I have grown to have a deep hatred against Girl Scouts which may be partly because I never was one, I have always had a guilty pleasure for Tagalongs. Shoot me if you must, but I have never quite liked the coconut ones, Samosas I think they’re called, rather I pretty much can’t digest them, because the coconut is just so freakin’ nasty. And the fact that some troops overprice their cookies so much just angers me. I mean seriously. Do they realize that most of that money is going to the GSA central office and their power-hungry workers? What is America trying to teach our youth? Another thing that bugs me is that the some of the people selling it can’t even be CONSIDERED “youth”. Please, If you’re reading this and you’re a Girl Scout over the age of 10 (even that cuts it close) JUST STOP. PLEASE. FOR THE SAKE OF MY SANITY. YOU’RE NOT CUTE ANYMORE. NOBODY WANTS TO BUY COOKIES UNLESS IT’S SUPPORTING A CUTE 5 YEAR OLD.
