Britney Spears has hit us with yet another of her skank-tabulous music videos. But “Break the Ice” is not your average girl-in-booty-shorts-slapping-herself-in-random-”dance-moves” Britney vid. Ohhh no, in this one, the ENTIRE vid is animated. Like Japanese-style animae. And the character doesn’t even lip sing!
Her reps said that the video was done in this style because of her “current physical and mental state of unwell.”
See for yourself.
Let’s hope she stays unwell for the next vid, because if you set aside the confusing plot and obnoxious music, this well may be Brit’s best music vid she has ever made!

Ah, French pop culture. Not nearly as grungy and suggestive as our trashy rap/ hip-hop scene here in the states. Actually, its really different. Much French pop gives off that feel-good, breeze-through-hair, everything-my-way kinda vibe. They do have rock bands, but in my opinion, those give off the same vibe.
I was curious to know about the French music scene, so taking the most direct route, I asked a French kid, my e-penpal from Paris. She recommended a few artists, one of them being Johnny Depp’s wife, Vanessa Paradis, who apparently sings en francais. Hmmm… She also said her favorite band was one by the name of Kyo, which turned out to be a freakin’ awesome rock band. But my favorite of her recommendations was definitely French band Superbus, which has had songs on Guitar Hero and such. Here’s one of my favorite songs from them, probably their most well-known song.
Do you like it? I think they’re alot like Paramore. hmmm…..
Tell me what you think

Turns out that Sunday’s game was the second most watched program in television history, coming up close behind the last episode of M.A.S.H. I know I, for one, eagerly tuned in in anticipation of this year’s million-dollar ad spots: those who don’t are lost in conversations for the next week or so. In a poll taken the day after the big game, it was determined that the most popular commercial from the Bowl this year was the Budweiser dog-teaching-horse commercial. I don’t agree at all.
Everyone knows since Obama paid for a SUPER BOWL AD, he’s definitely gonna get way more votes. Good for him, he’s definitely the best candidate for 2008!
My personal fav? The Pepsi one (“Bob’s House”). I think it’s so cool that they used sign language!
Which 1 was your fav? Comment with their titles and/or a description and I’ll feature them in my next post!

So Tom Cruise’s 9-minute rant on his religion spilled all over the internet today, and though The Church of Scientology has used their super copyright-infringment skills to remove pretty much all copies of this, I found 1 REMAINING COPY! (I’m too scared to put a copy up myself in fear that they’ll EAT ME!)
Click on the Screenshot of the video below and it’ll link you to the site.
Just watch. Really. Self-explanatory nonsense. Too stupid to touch in a blog with a 40-foot pole.

This completely KILLED any remaining hope I had for MacBook Air.
If you can, skip to timestamp 4:30.
That’s right: IT HAS NO FREAKIN’ CD DRIVE! LIKE AT ALL! And Apple’s excuse? “Your world gone completely wireless!”
completely wireless my ass.
they say that in lieu of using DVDs, you can rent and purchase movies from iTunes. Yeah, right. Just another money-making ploy put into place. Also, the process in which you use another mac or pc’s CD drive (remote disc) is so over-rated. Nobody in their right mind wants to go through all that to use their programs.
I hate you Steve Jobs.

You may have heard: In her “Best of Both Worlds” Tour, Hannah Montana uses a body double during the end of the song “We Got the Party” with the Jo Bros while she changes into Miley Cyrus Backstage. The body double has the same hair and outfit, but she keeps her head down and hops around a lot more than Miley. She’s only onstage for about 30 seconds.
Miley has spoken to the press about this and claims it is a necessary production element in order for the transition from hannah to miley to be smooth. I say she should just have her leave and have the Jo Bros steal the rest of the song.
Observe.

In the first pic, a backup dancer shrouds Hannah in a black sheet of some sort and pushes her into this hole in the wall.
Then, he slides open a door and the body double skips out.
She (the body double, that is) looks like this:

There is some suspicion that this is a GUY. Hmmm….
Watch the performance and see for yourself.
PAY ATTENTION FROM 2:30 ONWARD!
Pretty sketchy if you ask me…
I’m done now.
